Hey, good to see some cool info on one of my very favorite shows. Never missed an episode when I lived in Texas but now that I have moved to Ohio I don't get the show at all:( Would like to see an update on the actors if possible. But anyway, keep up the good work! Encore. Encore.

Hi,
I just read your home-page for "Yes, Prime minister" and I thought you might know a lot about the earlier "Yes, minister" series as well.
I have been trying to get me on video the episodes of this earlier series. I already have all the 16 episodes of YPM. Do you know, where I could get them? BBC released the first 7 episodes on video last year, and I bought them. Have you heard if and when the BBC is going to release the rest of the episodes?
I think these pages are great. All the best for the future!

Just a note: I am pretty sure that Bernard Wooley read Classics, not English. (He tells us this in an episode - I can't recall which.)

Bernard Woolley was at Cambridge not Oxford.
Source: "Doing the Honours" at page 230 of _The Complete Yes Minister_.
Sir Arnold Robinson was at Oxford (Baillie College), as revealed in that same episode where he speaks to Humphrey of "_our_ old college" (emphasis added).

Reply: Well, in 'The Tangled Web', Bernard gains the tape from the producer because "we were at Oxford together", if it says otherwise in the book, then the TV version is taken to be the authority, but thanks anyway :)
As for the info about Sir Arnold, I know he was at Baillie, and when I get round to doing profiles of any vaguely major characters (not just the main three), it will be mentioned.

Loved your site. I hope you will continue to add more about yes, minister and yes, prime minister. It never really caught on in the U.S. (probably because people here don't understand satire all that well). I'm a big fan of the show and will continue to "surf" past your site in hopes of more fun.

This is the Funniest series I've ever watched......
I watched the yes minister and yes PM series ages ago when they were broadcast in India..and I can still laugh at the same old jokes.
None of the american commecies are in the same catagory.
